Lighting the way with technology breakthrough

commercial-cleaners-swanseaBusy Cleaning, the Swansea-based commercial cleaning company has become the first in Wales to adopt UV light technology. Busy Cleaning has reinforced its position as industry leader by combining 30 years of experience with the introduction of innovative products from Klenitise Ltd, including the Revealite UV torch.

The Revealite torch has been designed for the real time detection of hazardous surface residues that would be otherwise invisible to the human eye. Surface residues produce fluorescence under the torch’s UV light so that improper cleaning is highlighted. The torch will also be used in conjunction with Klenitise’s Audit Marker, which is used to evaluate the thoroughness of cleaning. The Revealite and Audit products will form a vital part of Busy Cleaning’s staff assessment and training programme and will drive continuous improvement in cleaning performance.

The workforce of cleaning operatives will introduce the Klenitise Revealite torch, as well as the Klenitise Remuvit spray, wipes and hand sanitiser, to contracts across Swansea, Carmarthen, Llanelli, Neath, Port Talbot, Merthyr Tydfil, Pencoed, Bridgend and Cwmbran.

Chris Luxton, managing director of Busy Cleaning, said: “We are delighted to be at forefront of the Welsh commercial cleaning industry by adopting UV technology. The Revealite torch is a great product that will ensure we leave our clients’ surfaces sparkling clean, increasing the thoroughness of cleaning weekly until 100% is achieved and thereon maintained. With decades of experience and knowledge, Busy Cleaning is ideally placed to adopt and develop new equipment that minimises harmful bacteria and ultimately provides better customer service.”

As a commercial cleaning specialist, Busy Cleaning offers all aspects of cleaning services to offices, warehouses, shopping centres, leisure complexes, engineering works, residential communal areas, janitors and landlord properties through the provision of general office cleaning, property maintenance, recycling and more.
