Biological Hazard Cleaning

Biological hazards, also known as biohazards, refer to biological substances that pose a threat to our health. This can include faeces, bodily fluids such as urine, blood, tissue matter or medical waste that can impact human health. It can also include substances harmful to animals. Micro-organisms may be spread by contact with the body fluids of an infected person or items contaminated with body fluids e.g. needles and syringes and can remain active for long periods of time. Under the COSHH regulations we are required to eliminate or reduce as far as possible the risks of bio-contamination.
